Venus Netball Club is pleased to announce that we are hosting our Mixed Netball League again this summer. We are accepting entries from teams interested in playing in this short, fun league. Please fill in the relevant enquiry form from the content menu.
The league will run on a Thursday evening at Wright Robinson Sports College, Abbey Hey, Gorton. The league will start On Thursday 13th May and will be split into two 5 weeks blocks .
13th May - 10th June - 1st block
17th June - 15th July - 2nd block
The cost for each block is £125 per team, plus £10 per match for the umpires.
Match times will be 6.30pm, 7.20pm and 8.10pm.
A mixed netball team is made up of 3 men and 4 women - the 3 men must be placed with one in defence, one in centre court and one shooter.
Ladies, if your male friends/partners have ever said that netball is an easy sport, this is an opportunity for them to put their money where their mouths are!!!!
